Landscaping and Hardscaping

Landscaping, Hardscaping & Outdoor Living

High Country Landworks designs and builds outdoor spaces for commercial, mountain, rural, and residential properties — landscaping, hardscaping, decks, patios, retaining walls, stone stairs, walkways, fire pits, and complete outdoor living areas.

Every project starts with the property itself — terrain, drainage, slope, existing structures, how you’ll actually use the space — before we talk materials or design. A patio that looks good but doesn’t drain right, or a retaining wall that doesn’t account for the grade behind it, isn’t a finished job. We plan for the whole picture so it holds up, not just looks good on day one.

Who We Serve

  • Mountain and rural properties
  • Residential homes and properties
  • Rental and managed properties
  • Commercial properties and local businesses

Projects range from a single walkway or fire pit to a full outdoor transformation with several stages of work.

Landscaping and Hardscaping

  • Landscape improvements and renovations
  • Rock and decorative-stone installation
  • Low-water and fire-safe landscaping
  • Planting areas and landscape beds
  • Natural-stone and constructed walkways
  • Stone stairs and landscape steps
  • Patios and gathering areas
  • Retaining walls and grade transitions
  • Fire pits and seating areas
  • Removal and replacement of outdated landscaping

A walkway should connect where you actually walk. A retaining wall should hold the grade, not fight it. Rock and fabric should work with drainage, not trap water and cause a different problem two years later.

Decks, Patios & Outdoor Living

Simple or extensive — a single patio, or a full project with grading, retaining walls, drainage, stairs, and landscaping all running together. We work in natural stone, pavers, landscape rock, gravel, and wood depending on the property and what you want out of the space. The goal is a space that feels like it belongs there, not something dropped on top of the yard.

Retaining Walls, Stairs & Grade Work

Sloped properties need more than basic landscaping. Retaining walls, steps, and grade transitions improve access, control runoff, and create usable space out of ground that wasn’t usable before — planned around the actual slope and soil, not a one-size approach.

How We Price It

Bigger outdoor projects usually aren’t one decision, they’re several — the patio material, the deck size, whether you’re doing stamped concrete or broom finish, premium decking or composite. We’ll break a project into its real pieces and give you good, better, and best options with the tradeoffs on each, instead of one number that either works for your budget or doesn’t. That way you can do what’s necessary now and phase in the rest when it makes sense for you.

Call or text (303) 241-4197 for a free estimate. We’ll walk the property, tell you what it actually needs, and lay out your options.
